Paint-A-Thon!

Today was my most productive painting day in perhaps, ever.  I was determined to start and nearly complete a 36x48" canvas,,,a feat that generally takes me a week or longer.

"Cold Feet No. 2" is in the home stretch, and although I didn't enjoy rushing through work today trying to hit tomorrow's deadline, I was exceedingly productive, and that's really the point of work when all is said and done, no?

The photos below are over the course of six hours today:

Finish line at 4pm...I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Tomorrow, all that's left to do is highlighting, outlining, and some shading to really make the colors pop.  Notice how that underpainting of light portrait pink really played well with the light blue violet on top?  Looking forward to tomorrow, finishing up, photographing, then sending it off to the juror for the UMCP show.  Please wish me luck on that.

Hope you also had a splendid, productive day!
