Awaiting Summer's End

I've been traveling much of July and August and am anxious to get back to the easel.  I've snapped some paint-worthy landscapes, waterscapes (i'm not calling them seascapes as they are freshwater), and some highway shots that I hope to take a swing at beginning next week.

School is starting in ten days and I couldn't be more anxious.  Summer has been a whirlwind of fun with the kiddos, but I confess that my work time has suffered immensely.

But on a positive note- I want to thank Maryland Federation of Art for choosing "Ruby (Green Gold) for their Fall marketing materials and schedule that was sent via email and postcard as well as having been featured on the website.  I was over the moon when I saw one in my mailbox!  Email MFA with your address for a hardcopy of your own so that you can keep up with the goings-on of living artists!

Hello to Greece and also London, England!  I enjoy so much seeing the country codes that visit my blog...  I have some exciting mixed media pieces coming your way so stay tuned!
