A native Marylander with a new basecamp in Traverse City, Michigan. I think I’m going to like it here.
I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…
I’m a self-taught artist. I work in acrylic, watermedia, and pastel, paper and canvas. I also tinker in wool textile/wearable art. My fiber creations, “Earthworms Woolens”, can be found at Fra Angelica Gallery, Cleveland, Ohio. When I’m home with extended family on the Chesapeake Bay, I stockpile driftwood and create light fixtures and frames, mirrors, and other weathered oddities from my spoils.
As a blessed wife and mom to four wonderful kiddos, I never lack for inspiration. My paint-slinging continues to morph and evolve and I rarely stay in one original style for too long. An occupational hazard for certain— But, life is too short to get stuck and stay there.
I’ve hung at: BWI International Airport International Terminal Gallery; National Harbor, D.C.; Maryland Hall for the Arts; Circle Gallery, State Circle, Annapolis, MD; West Annapolis Artworks, Annapolis, MD; Fra Angelica Gallery, Fifth Street Arcade, Downtown Cleveland; Gallery B, Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD; Gallery 90, Hospice of the Chesapeake, Pasadena, MD; Paul’s Homewood Café, Annapolis Maryland; Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Cleveland, Ohio; Cleveland Public Library, Downtown Cleveland, Ohio; Mac Worthington Gallery, North High Street Arts District, Columbus, Ohio; ART (Artist Review Today) Gallery, The Galleria at Downtown Cleveland; Fra Angelica Gallery, Avon, Ohio; Curve Gallery (MFA); Crooked Tree Gallery, Traverse City, Michigan; Glen Arbor Arts Center, Glen Arbor, Michigan; Crooked Tree Gallery, Petosky, Michigan.
