Welcome!

I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…

Painting wood instead of canvas...

Almost finished  with my fun chair project.  Although, reupholstering a chair is much less fun than I thought it would be.  Never had I had so many holes in my hands or feet from staples....They were all over the place!

Here's a photo.  I'll complete the project this week when my fancy trim from England arrives (Hello Liverpool BTW!).  I may do one more for that Maine Cottage and then hang up my electric staple gun.

The colors aren't as bright as in person.  It's dark today, and my phone is acting up so I was lucky to get this shot.

Please remember that the trim is not on yet!  Then it will be done.  Pretty excited about the result though.  This will go next to a lovely West Elm Shelter sofa in the living area.  I'll be placing the "Swell" painting above the sofa.  I'll post photos when that is installed.

I also want to send a warm "hello" to Newark and Cincinnati, Ohio!

I will be finishing up two small paintings on Sunday.  Yesterday my daughter had an asthma flare up and I ended up getting her taken care of most of the day, so I didn't get to paint much.  Stop in Sunday for an update and some happy landscapes of bucolic Northern Baltimore County farms...

On my easel...uh, I mean my kitchen table...

Side tracked today...
