Welcome!

I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…

a softer side of Frank….

Hello and happy Monday. We had such an enriching weekend at home and with friends. Our girls got back from a trip and mama was happy to have all the chicks in the house again.

Yesterday was a special treat as a friend with a cottage on a private beach on the Old Mission Peninsula invited us to join them for a day of tubing, food, beach, and fishing for lake trout/salmon. Although we didn’t catch anything, we had a really overdue lax day of meeting new folks, discussion of the best local food, art, health, and the unique challenges of raising creative kids. Fortunately, we were among artsy weirdos ( my fella and his buddy aside). Where else would I hear for the first time, Mongolian heavy metal? That was interestingly good although all I could think about was Mongolian BBQ….

So this morning, here’s where I started. I did get in some hours over the weekend and a decided to soften up this composition quite a bit. I really like the calm feel of the palette and lightened it up further to see if Frank’s Farm perhaps needed to share it’s softer, gentler, restrained side.

I’ll post again later today…
