Welcome!

I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…

Quick Post with Sunburn.

Happy Sunday! Had a beautiful day out watching the air show this afternoon from the water for the second day in a row. I looked like a cooked lobster but the jets!

Today I took this piece in a different direction after my husband commented that it looks like a heart. That’s his field so not surprising but not at all what I was intending.

Today I added unbeached titanium, a deep olive wash and more watered down teal. Then I soaked the whole thing so the color and texture would bleed a bit. After drying I amped up the warmth with a bright red hue for contrast. I think it’s done! 24x24. $695. It’s titled, “Salty Interlude”. Another jelly painting. Go figure. Even after swimming in 60 degree freshwater today….

And just in case you need your own creative soundtrack for a Sunday evening….
