One of my most recent and beloved pieces, Sowing Season, a 20x20 abstract acrylic on canvas went up today at Circle Gallery in Historic Annapolis. Please stop by and see it if you are in town between Oct 3-Oct 17. It’s the Fall Member Madness Show, so It's not juried, but there are some interesting entries by my fellow MFA members. I dropped off my piece today, then had a lovely brunch with my best pal from high school at Cafe Normandie, outside on Maine Street. It was a little nippy in the shade, but Maine Street was vibrant and alive, unlike the spring when folks were hunkered down. It seems that the town has decided to press on, which is always the better route to resolve.
The BWI MFA International Terminal Show will be coming to a close this month. My pieces will be up until Oct 21 or 22, so do try and see them if you can. I have three pieces in that show and they are larger than life (or almost, anyhow).
In other news…lots of changes happening and I’ll be making an announcement soon regarding where I’ll be slinging paint soon! Here’s a hint: There are 30 wineries within 30 minute drive and the painting below is in the same region. The painting is also today’s offering for my ongoing studio sale at $175. I believe it is an 9”x12” acrylic on canvas and is part of the “Frank’s Farm” series. Shipping is a flat $20 to anywhere in the Continental US.
