Welcome!

I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…

My "Good Wind" Papercut Piece Chosen by Juror Robert Madden, National Geographic photographer.

I just found out a few moments ago that my paper cut piece, “Good Wind” was chosen for the “Corporate Connections” show for National Harbor in WDC! Only fifty pieces were chosen out of 600! I’m over the moon to say the least! I thought Good Wind was a strong piece, but when it wasn’t chosen for Hospice of The Chesapeake’s Annual Regatta this year, which was the purpose of creating it, I was pretty down.

Anyhow, this piece is no longer for sale (at least for now) but is available in a limited edition of 500 signed and numbered prints. Here’s a catalogue for the show (it’s toward the bottom on the list as the list is alphabetical):

The artists reception will be held on October 29th at National Harbor, where chosen artists will speak to corporate art enthusiasts and potential clients about our work.

Thank you as always for following along my artistic endeavors. I had a crap day and quite honestly needed some good news! Virtual school for four kiddos virtually sucks eggs and I’m virtually exhausted!

Stop back tomorrow for another studio sale piece posted. Prints of Good Wind can be purchased on my “Works for Sale” page.

Jen :)
